Building Blocks for Democracy are interactive learning modules that make democratic values tangible from a historical, comparative, practical and personal perspective.

Current Offer: Workshops for young people in the area of Basel

The costs of a limited number of initial workshops in the area of Basel are covered thanks to the financial support of the "Spendenparlament" of Basel.

Workshops for: School classes and youth groups, 10-25 young people from 12 years onwards. Duration: at least 2.5 hours (3 lessons plus break) Location: no fixed location, ideally in a room with moveable tables, chairs and flipcharts Costs: The realisation of a limited number of Workshops building blocks of democracy in the area of Basel is free of charge; a contribution to the material costs (travel expenses, if applicable) is welcome Register here

Democracy-Afternoons

Our democracy multipliers organise democracy-afternoons.

Current Offer: Democracy afternoons with Demogames

Currently, we conduct the democracy-afternoons with the brand-new games of our project Demogames. This allows democracy to be experienced, shaped and reflected through different approaches in a playful way.

Workshops for: Youth groups at non-formal/extracurricular learning venues, 10-15 young people from 15 years onwards. Duration: 2-3 hours Location: at the extracurricular learning venues such as neighbourhood centres, youth clubs, scouts, sports clubs etc., ideally in a room with moveable tables and chairs Costs: The realisation of the democracy afternoons are free of charge; a contribution to material costs (travel expenses for multipliers, material costs for the games) is welcome Registration: will be available shortly
